TYPE EDL® STEP FLASHING
For use with thin roofing materials such as asphalt or fiberglass shingles, slate, cedar shingles and shakes*. Each piece of step flashing is interwoven with a layer of roofing material for proper water drainage. No caulk or sealants are needed. Type EDL® is designed for roof pitches from 15º (3/12) to 85º.

TYPE EDW™ HIGH PROFILE FLASHING

For use with high profile roofing materials such as concrete and Spanish tile. The patented sill flashing piece features pliable pleats that can be easily formed to most types and heights of tile. Side and head flashing pieces form a gutter which directs water away from the skylight and off the roof. Type EDW™ is designed for roof pitches from 15º (3/12) to 85º.
TYPE EDM™ METAL ROOF FLASHING

A VELUX®exclusive, Type EDM™ Metal Roof Flashing makes installing skylights in metal roofs a snap. Type EDM flashing pieces interlock directly with the roofing material for a fast, weathertight installation and streamlined exterior. A sill apron features pliable pleats that form to the roof. Type EDM is designed for roof pitches from 15º (3/12) to 85º.
Copper cladding and flashing are available for VELUX Roof Windows and Skylights, excluding FCM™. Flashing Systems Type EDL, EDW and EDM are required for single unit installations with roof pitches from 15º (3/12) to 85º. VELUX Type ZOZ 121
Skylight Roofing Underlayment wraps skylights in a waterproof barrier to prevent water infiltration when ice accumulates on the roof.
TYPE ECX® / EMX™ FLAT ROOF CURBS

VELUX® prefabricated Roof Curbs provide the proper pitch necessary for VELUX Skylight installations on flat or low-sloped roofs. Factory-applied insulation increases energy efficiency.

Type ECX® Roof Curb is required for roof pitches from 0º to 10º (2/12) . Type EMX™ Roof Curb is required for roof pitches from 10º (2/12) to 15º (3/12)
TYPE EKL/EKW COMBI-FLASHING®

This modular system allows easy installation of an unlimited number of skylights closly together to dramatically transform interior spaces with light.

Type EKL works with groupings on low-profile roofing materials such as shingles and shakes.

Type EKW works with groupings on high-profile roofing materials such as Spanish tile or corrugated metal roofing.
